Clara (Tommie) Buchanan, 83, of Stephenville, Texas, a retired bookkeeper, died Friday, February 5, 2010, at a local nursing home. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 7, 2010, at the Oak Dale Cemetery with David Harris officiating. Burial will be at Oak Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Lacy Funeral Home.

She was born on September 27, 1926, to the late Roy and Ella (Caldwell) Hampton in Stephenville, Texas. She married Homer Buchanan on August 12, 1949, in Stephenville, Texas. She was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Homer Buchanan of Stephenville, TX; her daughter, Jennifer Buchanan Haley and husband, Wayne, of Stephenville, TX; her son, Bruce Buchanan and wife, Barbie, of Stephenville, TX; four grandchildren, Christie Buchanan, Tiffany Arfin and husband, Michael, Mike Haley and wife, Amanda, and Kenny Haley and wife, Kiley; and five great-grandchildren, Alexander Arfin, Logan Arfin, Kingston Arfin, Zachary Haley, and Avery Haley.
